w2e: Gary Culliss, Founder & CEO of gawkk.com

The all important question is not “What are you doing?” – it´s “What are you watching?”. The New York-based start-up gawkk.com announced the formal launch of its site at the Web 2.0 Expo in San Francisco. Gary Culliss founded gawkk.com in 2007 as an online video aggregator.

gawkk utilizes a video discovery engine to incorporate video from YouTube and dozens of other sources across the Internet, but users also can add a video from any Web site and then share and discuss it with friends and followers on gawkk. I think, it won’t be easy for gawkk the next couple of months because all the big video plattforms have started to integrate similar elements.

gawkk is according to Culliss self funded with $250,000 of his own savings and has three people working full-time.
